Current Dublin City Councilmember and former Vice-Mayor, daughter of migrant farm workers, and long time community volunteer pledges to fight for Alameda County families.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every person who supported my race for Alameda County Supervisor. I couldn’t be more inspired and am truly grateful for the endorsements and unwavering support. We always knew it would be a very close race. Unfortunately, the final results show that I missed advancing to the general election by a margin of less than 1% of the vote. I am so proud of the honest race we ran and am so grateful for all of the hard work from supporters across the district.

I ran for Supervisor because I am dedicated to improving the lives of families, seniors, veterans and all people in our County, and that remains as true today as it ever has been. I will be working hard in my capacity as Dublin Councilmember to provide services, safety and assistance to those in need and work with county, regional, state and federal officials to do whatever is necessary during this crisis.

Now I am asking for all of us to work together in unity, across the political spectrum and party lines, to follow the shelter in place directive enacted by Alameda, San Francisco, Marin, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Contra Costa Counties, and the State of California, to protect our elderly and most vulnerable, and work to flatten the curve to not overwhelm our healthcare system. Together we can save lives.
